An almost brutal materiality and archaic symbolism. A rough, irregular texture that evokes something primordial, like a arid earth. The exposed masonite, smooth and cold, contrasts with the roughness, adding an element of duality: artificial/natural, control/casual. The perfection of the circle clashes with the unpredictability of the medium generating an almost hypnotic contrast. The color “overflowing” from the circumference suggests a vital energy that transcends rational boundaries, as if the symbol itself were alive and in transformation. A metaphor for the tension between human and cosmic: the circle, a human creation tries to impose itself, almost forcefully, on the apparent natural “disorder” but is itself modified. A warning about the precariousness of order and the beauty of the ephemeral, where geometry does not dominate but coexists with the organic, in a dance of contrasts rooted in the origin of artistic language.
