The black outer border acts as a rigid frame: it delineates the space and introduces a strong, almost solemn presence, a source of contrast, mystery, and emotional weight. The burgundy, with its almost velvety appearance, creates a dense emotional field, warm yet dark, that evokes inner life, memory, and a sort of deep psychological space against which the other forms stand out. A small but intense hope, enclosed within a vivid green core, surrounded by a dark world that slowly threatens it without, however, succeeding in extinguishing it entirely. The work does not console, but it accompanies. It acknowledges the depth of darkness, the presence of threat, and the fragility of every human construct. Yet, at the center, that vivid green remains. The “maybe” of the title is not merely pessimistic doubt, but also an opening: a possibility that endures, despite everything and in a world that demands absolute answers; a “maybe” that endures is already a form of courage.
